Another Road Trip
Last week some people moved from the States to another city in my country to live for a while and share truth. Since there was no one better qualified to help (i.e., no other singles around) I got to meet them at the airport and help them get set up in their city.
Last Wednesday I jumped in the van and drove about 6 hours to a friend's house in another city. The next morning it was back on the road as we headed to our version of the Big Apple, then to the new guys' city. All in all, I was on the road about 20 hours. With a sweet ride like this, the hours sailed away
The Ferryboat I parked the van in for part of the trip as we crossed the seas
I had a lot of fun helping the new guys get situated. We toured around the city, got cell phones and internet connections, and checked out the malls. As an added bonus, one of the malls had a Subway and a Dunkin' Donuts in it. This might not be a big deal to you, but keep in mind I haven't seen either in about 2 years.
After 2 feet of Subway and half a dozen donuts, it was time to get some exercise. Fortunately, there just happened to be a race that same weekend I was in the city. So, I laced up and ran the 5k race they had. It was a pretty hard course, actually. There were some killer hills. But, I finished and got a nifty medal and some free water.

It's fun to see where life takes you. Did you really eat two feet of Subway and how many donuts?
