Another Day in the Life

I was in reading comprehension class one day last week when the teacher got on the subject of global warming. She talked for 20 minutes or so on how the problem is worsening, and how a lot of countries got together a while back and made an agreement, but that countries couldn't solve global warming. Only ordinary people can solve the problem. Then she turned the classroom lights off to fight said global warming, and we did the rest of the lesson in the dark. She hasn't let anyone turn the lights on since.

Don't get me started about Global Warming. It was 18 degrees here on Easter morning! It killed everything in bloom. We still haven't seen 70 since. Even had some wet snowflakes on Tax Day. Good weather for Polar bears, bad for blooming azaleas.

You could suggest that they combat global warming by holding their breath indefinitely.
